CHANEL Summer’s Calling, the new Summer 2026 makeup collection, is one of the most surprising beauty launches of the season. The collection was created to capture the glow of a summer evening – the golden light, healthy skin, glossy lips, and subtle shimmer instead of heavy makeup.

For summer 2026 Chanel created a completely new makeup product – a double-ended balm stick containing a multi-purpose blush on one end and a highlighter on the other side. Meet the new Chanel Duo de Baumes. Following the luxury minimalism trend, these new Duo de Baumes became the star of this year’s summer collection.
There are three color stories to match different moods:
Pure Glow that features
Fresh pink blush and
Lilac-pink balmy highlighter
This one is best for:
fair skin tones
cool undertones and
porcelain complexions
This is the most sheer of the tree. It gives enough color to complement fair skin tones but may be too light for medium to deep complexions.
Gentle Glow
This is the most universally flattering Duo de baumes stick. It features
Coral blush and
Medium Champagne highlighter
This one is best for
light to medium warm skin tones but it works well on fair skin tones as well
it will complement beautifully olive skin tones
Intense Glow
This is the most editorial combination but it works surprisingly well on all skin tones. It features:
Vibrant magenta blush and
Pastel yellow highlighter
The yellow highlighter isn’t meant to appear yellow—it creates a warm golden reflection when blended. The magenta blush sheers out beautifully and can work surprisingly well on medium to deep skin tones. Fair skin tones can also use this blush stick if applied lightly.
The magenta blush looks beautify in the lips so if you choose this shade don’t forget to take advantage of that and use it on the lips.
Who will love the new Chanel Duo de baumes?
If you like natural glowing skin, effortless French makeup and easy makeup that can be applied on the go – this product is for you. If your skin is dry or lacks luminosity, then the new Duo de Baumes may be your new holy grail because they melt into the skin offering a youthful luminosity without emphasizing texture or fine lines.
Who will not like the new Chanel Duo de Baumes & Tips for oily skin
If you have oily skin, then these new Chanel Balm sticks may not be the best option for you because they give a glass skin effect with a lot of glow and typically this kind of product tends to be less long lasting on oily skin. If you still want to wear the signature Chanel summer 2026 makeup look and you are experiencing oily skin, then I would suggest applying the new Duo de Baumes on top of your setting powder as a last step of your makeup routine. This will bring back the luminosity to the skin, it will make the makeup more long lasting. Your skin will remain mattified on the T zone while having the signature Chanel glow on the places where you apply the new Duo de Baumes. Just make sure to use dabbing motion when applying and avoid swiping the product directly onto the skin because it can shift your foundation.
New Summer 2026 Shades of the iconic Chanel Stylo Ombre et Contour
For eyes this summer Chanel decided to keep it simple. Instead of releasing a new eyeshadow palette, Valentina Li created new shades from the Iconic Stylo Ombe et Contour.
This is essentially a cream eye pencil that works as both eyeliner and a cream shadow. The color Baby Yellow was a very nice surprise to me because it makes blue eyes sharper and less tired. See the effect in my YouTube video here:
Nails
For summer 2026 Chanel release new limited edition nail polishes. The one that grabbed my attention right away was Party Girl -a feminine playful pink shade that still remains unmistakably Chanel.
